Try one new (healthy) thing from the Market each month

It takes 15 to 30 days to form a habit, and sometimes we can get overwhelmed when we try to adopt too many new, healthy habits at the same time. What if you try just one new healthy thing a month?

Ideas include:

  • Mix up your salads with new greens, such as pea shoots (nutty taste), endive (adds a good, astringent crunch), or a handful of fresh herbs (tarragon, thyme, chives, and basil are all good choices).
  • Grill, roast or pan sauté fish at least once a week. Our seafood team can help you decide if salmon, tilapia, sole or seabass – the options are extensive!
  • Branch out and try coconut oil, which has many uses – as an oil for sautéing and cooking, as a nutritional boost (mix into your coffee, smoothie or simply eat a tablespoon full dipped in bee pollen) or try as a hair or skin conditioner.
  • Boost your nutritional profile with chia, flax, hemp or another heart and body healthy addition to your smoothie, yogurt or cereal habit.

By year’s end, you’ll have a dozen new healthy habits!
