In the spirit of Wine Country holiday planning, let’s don’t leave dessert until the last minute! In the next few weeks we’ll sell thousands of gorgeous pies, starting with our own Pumpkin Pie, which is made from owner Dale Downing’s cherished recipe.

Pie, paired with ice cream or gelato, is an elegant dessert. Here are a few of our favorite pairings with Fiorello Gelato, which is made in small batches in San Rafael:
Pair savory Pumpkin Pie with Old Kentucky Butter Pecan Gelato for a mellow, nutty and slightly sweet combination.
Pair Pecan Pie with Pumpkin Gelato to marry two of the season’s most beloved flavors.
Love chocolate covered cherries? Chocolate Chocolate Chip Gelato is the perfect complement to a sweet and tart Bing Cherry Pie.
Dulche de Leche Gelato has a milky caramel flavor that combines well with a traditional Mincemeat Pie.
Apple Pie or Apple Crumb Pie pair classically with Tahitian Vanilla Gelato or mix it up with Carmel Balsamic for a modern twist.
A beautiful galette can stand on it’s own, or pair it simply with Wild Honey Gelato.
Finally, Cranberry Apple Pie is complemented beautifully by Fig Balsamic Gelato.
