Bring out the best in your Sierra sirloin by coating it with a peppery and savory marinade before it hits the grill.

Ingredients

  • 1 Sierra Sirloin roast (2 pounds)
  • 2 tablespoons sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon beer
  • 1 teaspoon yeast powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder

Preparation

Make a marinade by mixing together all ingredients except the roast in a work bowl. Coat the roast generously in marinade until completely covered. Allow to rest for 1-2 hours at room temperature. 

Preheat grill to approximately 400°F.

Place the roast on a cool section of the grill providing indirect heat and grill for approximately 20-25 minutes per side or to desired doneness.
