Add the perfect punch to your Labor Day celebration with these two variations on a fruity favorite.

Ingredients

Punch base & non-alcoholic version:

  • 1 yellow doll melon
  • 1 medium watermelon
  • 1 pineapple
  • 2 mangos
  • ½ cup water

Cocktail version (single serving):

  • Punch base
  • 1½ ounces white rum
  • ½ ounce Stirrings ginger liqueur
  • ½ ounce Stirrings triple sec

Preparation

For the punch base, cut the yellow doll melon and watermelon in half, scoop out the fruit and add to a blender. Blend melons to liquid consistency then strain liquid to remove seeds and pulp. Pour strained liquid into a punch bowl or pitcher. 

Cut pineapple and mango into chunks and blend together in the blender with ½ cup water to a puree consistency. Add to punch bowl or pitcher with melon juice and ice.

For the cocktail version, pour punch mixture into a pint glass, leaving room for rum, ginger liqueur and triple sec. Add spirits, stir and enjoy!
