The Ambrosia apple really lives up to its name: Food of the gods!
There’s a new fall season apple in town, and its name is Ambrosia! Aptly named (“ambrosia” means “food of the gods”) this apple variety comes from a chance seedling and is quite the looker, with its glossy skin that’s got an almost fluorescent pink blush over a creamy yellow background. Its flesh is tender and juicy, with a fine crisp texture and a refreshing and sweet honeyed flavor. It’s one of those autumn season gems that’s not to be missed!
