Pairing #1: The sweet and creamy Caramelized Onion Cheddar melted over a burger, paired with Almanac Saison, a lightly dry hopped classic saison style beer. The light earthy undertones and crisp dry finish of Almanac Saison have a nice balancing effect on this cheese.
Pairing #2: A juicy burger topped with the rich and creamy Saint Agur, paired with Tap It IPA. The texture of this double crème French blue cuts the bitterness of the IPA, and lets the fresh hop aromas and citrus notes of this classic West Coast IPA shine.
Pairing #3: The sweet, nutty Gruyere over a burger, paired with Yolo Brewing Nutty Brown Nut Brown Ale. The sweet roasted malt notes of almonds, hazelnuts, and caramel in Nutty Brown are beautifully balanced by hop bitterness. When paired together, the Gruyere beautifully highlights the complexity of this beer.
Pairing #4: The decadent Domaine Du Village draped over a burger, paired with Anderson Valley Brother David’s Triple Abbey style ale. This Triple Abbey is a medium, bodied beer brewed with loads of pale malts and Belgium candi sugar. Its refreshing effervescence cleanses the palate when paired with this thick, creamy French triple crème.
