The State Fair might have come and gone, but meat on a stick is here year-round in our deli department! Try these fun skewered meats, handmade fresh in our stores by Nugget chefs: Salmon Yakitori, Gaucho-Style Beef Skewers with Chimichurri, Lamb Kefta, Beef Kabobs and Chicken Satay.
The State Fair might have come and gone, but meat on a stick is here year-round in our deli department! Try these fun skewered meats, handmade fresh in our stores by Nugget chefs:
Salmon Yakitori
Our chefs marinate salmon filets in our own house-made teriyaki sauce, then skewer and grill them until they’re perfectly done. After they’re cooked, we drizzle the skewers with even more teriyaki sauce, and finish them with sesame seeds and scallions.
Gaucho-Style Beef Skewers with Chimichurri
We take hearty slices of USDA Choice flank steak and marinate them in our own house-made chimichurri sauce — a delicious green sauce made with parsley, garlic, olive oil, oregano and vinegar (and if you like the sauce, we also sell it bottled!).
Lamb Kefta
These flavorful Middle Eastern lamb meatballs are house-made by our chefs from ground lamb and a variety all-natural spices, garlic and onions. We suggest dipping them into our tzatziki dipping sauce.
Beef Kabobs
These savory beef and veggie kabobs are seasoned with salt and pepper, and grilled to perfection by our in-house chefs.
Chicken Satay
Served with our house-made Thai Sesame dressing, this signature Nugget recipe is a longtime guest favorite. Made with delicious (and healthy!) fresh chicken breast, these skewers are already cooked and ready to heat and serve.
