How time flies! Nugget Markets opened the doors to our very first store 89 years ago today, and we’re still going strong!

Founded in 1926 by Mack and William Stille, Nugget Markets has always held a strong commitment to providing quality products, exceptional service and lower prices than any other conventional grocery store. The family business is still owned and operated by the fourth and fifth generations of the Stille family, with President and CEO Eric Stille at the helm.

For the last 89 years, the Nugget Markets team has been committed to offering our guests conventional and specialty products suitable for every lifestyle. As well as offering an extensive array of organic and local produce, sustainably rated seafood and organic and grass-fed meats, we also offer more than 400 specialty cheeses, a full line of organic, gourmet and conventional grocery products and scratch-made delicacies prepared in-house by our chefs.

With nine locations rooted in the Sacramento area and three recently acquired Paradise Foods in Marin County, we invite you to visit us at any Nugget Markets location.
