Keep in theme with the German delicacies with artisan cheeses from Käserei Champignon of Bavaria. For more than 100 years, they’ve been making fine cheeses using locally sourced milk from Brown Swiss cows that feed on alpine grass. Here are a few of our favorites:
Cambozola: This triple crème brie/blue blend has a smooth, creamy texture and subdued blue flavor—the best of both worlds!
Cambozola Grand Noir: This soft cow's milk blue cheese is melt-in-your-mouth creamy and aged in a distinctive waxy black mantle that gives it a depth of flavor.
St. Mang Garlic & Chive Brie: Smooth and savory, this flavorful soft-ripened cheese is made with fresh garlic and chives, and is great for melting on sandwiches or steak.
St. Mang Green Peppercorn Brie: This soft-ripened double cream brie features tender, pickled green peppercorns from Madagascar, which lend it a mild heat.
St. Mang Limburger: This classic red culture cheese develops a distinctive spiciness as it matures. Enjoy younger cheese for mild spice, or wait until closer to its Best By date for extra bold flavor.
Champignon Mushroom Brie: With an infusion of handpicked German mushrooms, this soft-ripened triple cream cheese boasts a subtle mushroom flavor.
