This tasty twist on the traditional porchetta features Mary’s Free Range Non-GMO Turkey seasoned with garlic and fresh herbs and rolled in the traditional porchetta technique. Follow these simple cooking instructions for a truly tantalizing turketta!
- Allow turketta to defrost completely in the fridge for approximately 2 days.
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Lightly season turketta with salt, then roast in a deep roasting pan until an instant-read thermometer inserted into center of meat registers 160°F. This will generally take 20 minutes per pound of turketta.
- Take the roll out when it is golden brown and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- Using a carving knife, slice into ½-inch rounds and serve with homemade gravy and seasonal vegetables.
