Turkish Coffee Face Scrub
This mask does double duty—the coffee acts as a mechanical scrub, while the natural acids in the sugar act as chemical exfoliate. Cardamom is high in vitamin C and great for circulation!
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons finely ground coffee (Turkish or espresso grind)
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- ⅛ teaspoon cardamom
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. When ready to use, mix 1 teaspoon of scrub with enough water to make a thick paste (it won’t take much). Scrub very gently on face, avoiding the eye area. Let sit for 1 minute before rinsing with warm water.
Note: Avoid using a white washcloth to rinse off as the coffee may stain.
Lemon Sugar Foot Scrub
If you need a treat after a long day on your feet, this refreshing, lemony scrub will do the trick! La Tourangelle’s SunCoco Oil is a blend of coconut and sunflower oils, which unlike straight coconut oil, is not solid at room temperature, making this scrub easier to use.
Ingredients:
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons La Tourangelle SunCoco Oil
- 10 drops lemon essential oil
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Apply to damp skin, scrub gently and rinse off. Avoid sensitive areas. As this is an oil-based scrub, use caution when using in the shower or tub!
