Cheese, please! While we have a special place in our hearts and stomachs for all the amazing cheeses we offer, every once in a while there are some that stand out from the rest. In this case, we’re talking about a few first place winners from this year’s American Cheese Society competition! We’re proud to carry many of the winners from this year’s competition in our specialty cheese departments, including these three California champions.

Chevoo Aleppo-Urfa Chili & Lemon - 1st place in Marinated Cheeses, Goat’s Milk: This fresh goat cheese and olive oil infusion features the bold flavors of allepo and urfa chili peppers, plus a citrusy lemon tang. The hint of heat is mild enough not to overpower the velvety, hand-blended chèvre, creating a well-balanced flavor experience.
