- 11 a.m. - Flower Arranging: Get a stem-by-stem guide to creating stunning floral arrangements from our Floral Lead Buyer, Susi Destefani, and a representative from Full Belly Farm! At our interactive demo, Susi will share tips on how to enhance your Nugget Markets flowers with household items, and audience members will get to build their own arrangements to take home!
- 12 p.m. - Fresh to Market Beef 101: Beef up your knowledge of different steak cuts, preparation and cooking techniques at our chef-led demo featuring our Corporate Executive Chef Stazi Dulman! Chef Stazi will demonstrate the best ways to break down and cook different cuts of beef using our own premium Fresh to Market Angus Beef.
- 1 p.m. - Coffee Brewing Techniques: Get ready to jump for java, because our most caffeinated demo is overflowing with pro tips to help even casual coffee drinkers become café connoisseurs. From bean selection, grinding and brew methods to a simple recipe for making cold brew at home, Coffee Bar Manager, Marcie Smith, will be sharing brewing best practices that will help you get the tastiest home brew every time.
- 2 p.m. - How to Make Pesto: From pasta and pizza to soup, sandwiches and more, there are few savory dishes that can’t benefit from a bit of pesto, especially when it’s homemade! Drop by our demo to learn from our Corporate Executive Chef, Stazi Dulman, how to make a variety of pestos using award-winning Cobram Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
- 3 p.m. - How to Make Focaccia: Break bread with our Director of Bakery Operations, Brian Wagner, at this delicious demo! This year’s demo will feature a guest favorite—focaccia. Brian will share a basic recipe that can be adapted to include a variety of flavors and seasonal ingredients, and is easy enough for casual bakers to make at home.
- 4 p.m. - All About Apples: Whether it’s the best choice for baking, freezing or eating out of hand, there’s an app for that! Check out this demo to learn from Produce Managers, Kristi St. John and Jason Frieze, about some of the many delicious apples we offer and what varieties work best for different uses like baking and pairing with honey, cheese, caramel and snacks.
- 5 p.m. - How to Make Gourmet Cheese Bites: Say cheese! Elevate your party game by making your own Petite Fromage de Boule, a.k.a. Cheese Bites. Our Director of Specialty Cheese Operations, Jeremy Patin, will be teaching how to make these little bites of cheese bliss at this demo using amazing local cheeses, and sharing samples of the finished products!
