Dharma Love: In Sanskrit, “Dharma” means “purpose in life.” Founder Anastasia was seeking that purpose when she created her clothing company that provides “high-quality, reasonably priced and socially-conscious” products emboldened with the art from her paintings, photographs, woodcuts and printmaking. Her items are made from organic materials, decorated with non-toxic paints and packaged in post-consumer recycled content which helps her business on the path to zero-impact. Her goal is to use her goods to connect others to “love, kindness and compassion.”
House Kombucha: Founded in 2009 by friends, Rana Lehmer-Chang and Asad Modarai, House Kombucha is on a mission to create kombucha so good, people will claim it as their own “house” kombucha! Lehmer-Chang wanted to elevate this ancient, fermented tea from traditional to social beverage with complex carbonated flavors. She is also determined to keep the ecological footprint low by using glass bottles that can be endlessly recycled. House Kombucha is naturally non-GMO and vegan, and made in an allergen-free facility. Enjoy all the complex flavors including Citrus Hibiscus, Lavender Lemonade, Rose Black and Sun Blossom!
Haven’s Kitchen: What began as a cooking school to teach the average New York citizen how to make home-cooked meals flavorful and fun, turned into squeezy sauces that would allow anyone to make globally-inspired meals in the comfort of their own home. Founder Alison Cayne wants people to feel empowered in the kitchen, with her gluten-free, non-GMO, kosher and vegan sauces free from added salts and sugars. Plus, their packaging is 100% recyclable through their partnership with Terracycle. Enjoy a wide variety of flavors including Herby Chimichurri, Gingery Miso and Golden Turmeric Tahini, all found in our refrigerated section!
Beckon Ice Cream: Founded by friends, Katy and Gwen, Beckon is all the fun of ice cream while being completely free of lactose! As they like to say, they want to “beckon everyone back to real, delicious ice cream!” The base of Beckon only has five ingredients: milk and cream from family farms in the Northeast, egg yolks, non-GMO pure cane sugar and a naturally occurring enzyme that breaks down the lactose. Go original with their Vanilla or Chocolate, or try their other flavors including Cookies and Cream, Mint Chip, Sea Salt Chocolate Chip and Espresso.
