Séka Hills’ 2023 bottling is produced from Arbequina olives grown locally in Capay Valley, harvested in October, then milled and bottled fresh onsite.
What makes Olio Nuovo so unique? For starters, instead of spending several weeks settling before bottling, this limited-edition oil is bottled straight from the mill for ultimate freshness. Not only that, it also comes from Séka Hills, a line of specialty products from the Yocha Dehe Tribe. The Tribe maintains their homeland of more than 25,000 acres in Northern California with a special focus on stewardship and sustainability.
With its vibrant green color and bold, bright and grassy flavor, Olio Nuovo is ideal for enjoying a variety of ways, including over fresh vegetables, artisan breads, specialty cheese and even vanilla ice cream. Due to its unique freshness, this artisanal olive oil is best enjoyed within a few months, so make sure to pour it on thick!
Just in time for the holidays, Séka Hills Olio Nuovo also makes a great host or hostess gift. Just make sure to pick up a bottle for yourself, as well!
