Produce
- Durst Organic Growers: Based locally in Esparto, California, the Durst family has been farming Yolo County land since the late 1800s. More than a century later, fourth-generation family farmers, Jim and Deborah Durst, made it their mission to go organic! Thanks to their efforts, Durst Organic Growers now grows a variety of responsibly farmed produce year-round.
- Capay Organic: Founded in 1976, Capay Organic is one of California’s first certified organic farms. Now in its second generation, this family-owned and -operated company grows more than 100 varieties of fruits and vegetables on their certified organic farm in Yolo County, with a satellite farm in Southern California where the warmer winters allow for extended growing seasons.
Floral
- Full Belly Farm: One of our longtime partners for fruits, veggies, and flowers alike, this local, certified organic farm has been growing premium produce in Yolo County’s beautiful Capay Valley since 1985. Full Belly Farm grows everything from heirloom tomatoes and winter squash to sunflowers and other blooms. To keep their footprint small, they only sell their goods within a 120-mile radius of their farm—our headquarters is only 45 miles away!
- Neve Bros.: Based in Petaluma, family-owned Neve Bros. provides gorgeous flowers to our stores and share our commitment to the environment. They’re known far and wide for their assortment of hydroponic roses (one of only two commercial rose growers in California!) and seasonal, field-grown flowers like gerbera daisies, sunflowers, and more.
Grocery
- Earth & Vine Provisions: This local business began in a small kitchen and still produces award-winning jams and sauces in Loomis today! They use small batches, time-tested techniques, and locally grown produce whenever possible to ensure the same great taste and quality they’ve been known for since 1997.
- Mariani Nut Company: This locally based grower and supplier in Winters, California was founded in 1972 and has been family-owned for generations. They started small, processing walnuts from their own orchards, and have grown to process nuts from growers around the state. They’re one of the largest privately held almond and walnut processors in the world!
Kitchen
- Buckhorn Meat Co.: Famed for serving up the highest quality steaks for more than 40 years, Buckhorn Steakhouse in Winters, California, sets the bar for amazing meat. Their tender, juicy, and truly one-of-a-kind tri-tip stars in one of our Signature Sandwiches and breakfast burritos.
- Sacramento Baking Company: If we’re not using our own bread (baked fresh daily in our Bakery!) for our signature sandwiches, it’s sliced bread from Sacramento Baking Company! Located in the southeastern part of the city, this bakery has been known for decades as a trusted source of beautiful breads.
Meat
- Diestel Family Ranch: Dedicated to animal welfare, holistic farming, and sustainability without compromise, the Diestel family has been raising turkeys locally and humanely in Sonora, California, for more than 70 years! Their turkeys are slow-grown in nourishing environments with fresh air, clean water, and vegetarian feed, with no added antibiotics, hormones, artificial ingredients, or preservatives ever.
- Rocky & Rosie Chicken: For premium poultry born and raised in California, look no further! Fresh from Petaluma Poultry, Rocky Chickens are free-range while Rosie Chickens are free-range and organic, both raised sustainably in and around Sonoma County with no antibiotics, hormones, or steroids ever and only vegetarian feed.
Cheese
- Marin French Cheese Co.: Crafting artisan cheeses since 1865, Marin French Cheese Co. is the longest continually operating cheese company in America! Tthey make small batches of French-inspired soft-ripened cheese using milk from local dairy farmers.
- Cypress Grove Cheese: In 1983, Mary Keehn founded Cypress Grove Cheese in Humboldt County with just two goats and a dream. Now the creamery has more than 1,000 goats, and their model dairy is eco-friendly and American Humane Certified with a 100% score!
Adult Beverage
- Matchbook Wine Company: Located just a smidge north of Sacramento and Davis in the Dunnigan Hills of Yolo County, Matchbook Wine Company is family-owned by fifth-generation farmers: the Giguieres. As a California Certified Sustainable Farm, they create wine alive with flavor, color, and balance.
- North Coast Brewing Co.: Based just up the way in Fort Bragg, this craft brewery is known for its dedication to sustainability, community, and quality. This TRUE Platinum Zero Waste Certified B Corp makes good on their mission of “making the world a better place, one pint at a time.”
Bakery
- Real Pie Co.: This local, family-owned business in Sacramento handcrafts pies so popular they have a following! The pies are made from scratch with all-butter crusts, produce sourced from local family farmers, and no additives or preservatives. Find them at select Nugget Markets!
- Sugar Plum Vegan: Whether you’re vegan, gluten-free, or both, you can have your cake and eat it with these sweet treats! Based locally in Sacramento, Sugar Plum Vegan has been crafting delicious, gluten-free, non-GMO, and vegan baked goods since 2009.
Coffee Bar
- Equator Coffees: What started in a garage in Marin County in the late 90s, has since become a B Corp making waves in the coffee industry. They helped pioneer the direct trade model by prioritizing transparency, people and the planet, along with the best tasting brews around.
- Clover Sonoma: Family-owned and -operated for more than a century, this independent B Corp is dedicated to partnering with family farms in Sonoma and Marin counties to craft delicious dairy with uncompromising quality, compassion, and sustainability.
Healthy Living:
- Nordic Naturals: When founder Joar Opheim moved from Arctic Norway to California, he realized there was a market for omega-rich fish oil common in his home country. Since 1995, Nordic Naturals has expanded to offering all sorts of topnotch vitamins and supplements to help you feel your best.
- MaryRuth’s: Founded by a certified health educator, chef, and nutritional consultant, MaryRuth’s is a Certified B-Corp based in LA with a range of vegan, gluten-free, and non-GMO products like this liquid multivitamin, designed to promote overall health and wellness for the whole family.
