Can you, can you do The Can Run? Yes you can! Now in its second year, The Can Run is a fantastic event that’s fun for the whole family with a 5K, 10K and kids’ half mile runs. As an extra bonus, The Can Run’s beneficiary this year is Yolo Crisis Nursery, a local nonprofit dedicated to the prevention of child abuse in Yolo County. The run itself will take runners and walkers along The Cannery Loop Trail, neighborhood streets in north Davis and, for those brave 10K runners, on into Northstar neighborhoods. After the run, be sure to pick up some refreshments provided by Nugget Markets!
