Event Calendar at Nugget Markets & around town

Before it’s time for turkey, join in the fun run on Thanksgiving morning at the 26th annual Run to Feed the Hungry! The 10K run begins at 8:15 a.m. and the 5K run/walk begins at 9 a.m. Nugget Markets is proud to sponsor this great event, which raises awareness about food insecurity in our community and supports Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services (SFBFS). This local nonprofit serves those in need with dignity by offering free emergency goods, services, education and hope to help move families toward self-sufficiency. SFBFS helps roughly 150,000 men, women and children each month with the help of thousands of volunteers plus grants, donations and other community support.
