Event Calendar at Nugget Markets & around town

With this 2008 inaugural event, The Good Life Garden presents three speakers (featuring David Howard, former head gardener to HRH the Prince of Wales)  in a celebration of personal food production.  In keeping with the growing interest in locally sourced food and home gardening, the evening is enhanced by "A Taste of the Region," with tastings of regionally sourced, artisan products, including an array of fabulous local cheesses from Nugget's specialty cheese department.   Event takes place at the Sciences Lecture Hall, UC Davis Campus.  Tickets are $75 per person and are available at www.goodlifegarden.ucdavis.edu/events.
