Event Calendar at Nugget Markets & around town

Empty Bowls is River City Food Bank's largest fundraiser in the fight against local hunger, and this year marks the 10th year for this event.  We're honored to help support Empty Bowls, where attendees enjoy a simple supper and a beautiful hand-made bowl created by local potters, artists, and students all to help the hungry and to remind us of those in our community faced with hunger and an empty bowl every day.  Supper: March 4, 5:30 - 7:30pm and two luncheons on March 5th, 11:30am and 12:30 seatings, At the Sacramento Convention Center.
