Since 1971, Vaca Fish (Friends In Service of the Hungry) Food Pantry has been on a mission to eliminate hunger in the Vacaville area with the help of volunteers and donations. This amazing all-volunteer nonprofit has no payroll and keeps expenses low by renting their facility from the City of Vacaville. This means donations go farther, and helps them serve 200 local families in need per month.

To receive assistance from Vaca Fish Food Pantry, families must be residents of Vacaville, Allendale or Elmira, meet the organization’s low-income requirements and present a picture ID when picking up food. To keep up with current social distancing precautions, individuals are able to pick up boxed meals that include 3 days of food (9 meals) per person in the household.
Thank you, Vaca Fish Food Pantry, for feeding those in need in our community!
