    This week we made a big announcement – one that was bittersweet for both of us. We have reached an agreement with Nugget Markets, another family-owned and independent Northern California grocer, to sell both of our stores. The sale is set to close March 31, 2016, and we will both continue on in the business for six months to ease the transition.

    While California's Dungeness crab season has been delayed indefinitely, we are happy to report that we've been able to source crab from safer waters in Alaska. We look forward to bringing our local crab in as soon as possible, meanwhile, we invite you to enjoy the same fresh, cleaned, steamed and cracked crab that you have come to love this holiday season.

If you don’t have a Community Card yet, stop by Customer Service and sign up. Simply choose a nonprofit and/or school to receive proceeds, and keep shopping our markets. Up to 5% of your total grocery bill will be donated annually.
