At a recent breakfast, the Sacramento Area Sustainable Business of the Year awards recognized six businesses and organizations that embrace environmentally friendly practices.

For five generations, the Stilles have made a positive attitude as essential as locally grown produce in their family-owned markets. On Wednesday, the company celebrates its 90th birthday. That fun-and-family-first formula earned the company raves beyond its loyal customers.
“The associates here at Nugget really do view each other as members of an extended family. This being said, coming into work is always a fun and safe experience because associates really do care about one another. The management team is also very approachable and they do not micro-manage; each person has opportunity to fail or succeed on their own which is necessary to grow,” says a millennial worker.
This year, the Folsom area has recognized Nugget Market as Best of the Best in many categories in-cluding: Best Grocery, Best Organic Grocery, Best Customer Service, and Best Dessert Store. “We’re honored by the unfailing support of our guests year after year!
