Gluten-Free Maple Fruit & Nut Squares

These simple fruit and nut-based treats are great for anytime snacking!
Ingredients
- ¼ cup dried cranberries
- ¼ cup roasted pistachio nuts
- 1 cup toasted almond slivers
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup maple syrup
Preparation
In a food processor, blend cranberries , pistachios (set aside 1 tablespoon) and almonds to a rough chop. Add in salt, cinnamon and ¼ cup maple syrup and continue blending until incorporated. Form mixture into small squares. In a small sauce pan, reduce maple syrup to thicken, stirring continuously. Dip the top side of the square into the maple syrup reduction and set down to cool. Crush the remaining pistachio and sprinkle on top of the maple syrup reduction.
