Tomahawk Rib Roast

All you need to add to this rib roast is a simple rub of salt, pepper and granulated garlic. Then just roast it in the oven until it's tender and juicy.
Ingredients
- 3-bone tomahawk rib roast (7 pounds)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons granulated garlic
Preparation
Remove rib roast from the refrigerator 1 hour before cooking. Heat oven to 425°F.
Season rib roast with salt, pepper and granulated garlic. Place in a roasting pan, bone-side down, and roast for 10 minutes. Reduce the temperature to 325°F and continue to roast for about 1 hour.
Remove roast from oven when the internal temperature is 115°F for medium rare. Let rest for 30–40 minutes before carving.
