Corpse Reviver
This pre-prohibition pick-me-up was popularized by American Harry Craddock. Coating the glass with absinthe first is key to proper execution.
Ingredients

Preparation
Pour absinthe into a rocks glass and swirl it around to coat the sides of the glass.
Place gin, Cointreau, Cocchi Americano, and lemon juice in a cocktail strainer half full of ice and shake.
Pour the shaker contents into absinthe-coated glass, then garnish with an orange peel twist and a cocktail cherry, if desired.
