Mandarin Orange Sauce

Delicious on more than just chicken, this mandarin orange sauce can be enjoyed over stir-fried veggies, fish, or pork, or used as a dipping sauce.
Ingredients

Preparation
Combine mandarin orange juice, rice wine vinegar, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red chili flakes in a sauce pot. Reduce to 1½ cups. Add soy sauce and mandarin orange zest and bring to a simmer. Adjust seasoning with additional soy sauce, if desired.
For a thicker sauce, mix water and corn starch in a small work bowl. Whisk corn starch slurry into sauce and bring to a simmer to thicken, then remove from heat.
