Croissant Bread French Toast

Make French toast even tastier by starting with buttery croissant bread and finishing it all off with berries and whipped cream or your favorite toppings.
Ingredients

Preparation
Combine eggs, cream, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt in a work bowl. Whisk together for 15–20 seconds until well incorporated.
Lay bread slices in a shallow dish in a single layer and pour the batter over the top. Flip bread over and allow to soak in the batter for about 5 minutes, then flip over and allow to soak another 5 minutes. Nearly all the batter should be absorbed into the bread.
Heat griddle or sauté pan on medium heat. Add the butter and then the soaked bread. Cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes, then flip bread and cook about 3 more minutes. Remove to a dish and serve with your favorite toppings.
