Mulled Riesling

This warm and inviting drink makes a perfect winter punch. If selecting your own mulled spices instead of a mix, try using cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, citrus peel, allspice berries, star anise or your favorite seasonal flavors.
Ingredients
Cranberry Syrup:

Preparation
To make the cranberry syrup, bring all ingredients to a boil, then reduce heat and let cook for 10 minutes, or until the cranberries are soft. Strain and chill until ready to use.
For the cocktails, combine all ingredients except garnishes in a crock pot and heat until warmed through. When ready to serve, garnish each cocktail with a cinnamon stick and pear slice.
