The longtime patriarch of Nugget Market sure knew how to make a mean martini. Try his favorite tipple and see for yourself!

Ingredients

  • 2½ ounces premium vodka
  • ½ ounce dry vermouth
  • Ice
  • Green olive, for garnish

Preparation

Place an empty martini glass in the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.

Pour the vodka and dry vermouth into a martini shaker, then fill to the top with fresh ice. Shake vigorously for exactly 2 shakes, then immediately strain into the chilled glass and garnish with a green olive.
