Pear and Gorgonzola Tart

Bold Gorgonzola and sweet pears are natural partners, along with the fresh taste of thyme and a crunch of walnuts this tart is beautifully balanced. A perfect appetizer for any occasion.
Ingredients
1 sheet thawed frozen puff pastery (from a 17.3 oz pkg.)
1 egg
½ cup gorgonzola Dolce Softened
¼ cup diced green onions
1 ripe pear, cored and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh thyme
½ cup chopped walnuts
Preparation
Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees. line baking sheet with tin foil and spray with cooking spray; place the puff pastry on it. Using a fork, poke holes down the center of the puff pastry. bake until the pastry begins to puff, about 10 minutes.
In a small bowl, whisk togetgher the egg and cheese untill smooth. Spread this over the dough, using a small spatula to move the mixture to the corners. scatter the green onions and chopped walnuts over the cheese mixture, then lay the sliced pear over this. sprinkle the thyme over the pears. Bake until the pastery is golden brown and the egg set, about 15 minutes. cut into small squares. serve warm or at room temperature.
