Garlic Chili Green Beans

Simple, seasonal and delicious is the best way to describe this quick and simple way to make your green bean side dish the star of the show.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs. green beans
- 2 cloves garlic, sliced
- 2 tsp. red chili flakes
- 2 oz. FTM EVOO
- 1 ea. lemon, zested
Preparation
1. Bring a medium pot of salted water to a simmer (180F) and blanch green beans for 5-7 minutes until bright green and tender.
2. While beans are blanching gently heat oil, garlic and chili flakes over low heat in a small saute pan until aromatic being careful not to burn the garlic.
3. When beans are tender and bright green, drain well and arrange on serving plate, then top with garlic chili oil mixture and lemon zest.
