Cedar Plank Roasted Salmon

This simple technique of roasting salmon on a cedar plank creates fantastic flavor for the fish.
Ingredients
- 1 cedar plank
- 2 salmon fillets (6 ounces each)
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 lemon slices, for garnish
Preparation
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Soak cedar plank in cold water for 15–20 minutes.
Season salmon with salt and pepper. Place on soaked plank and roast for 15–20 minutes, or until a probe thermometer inserted into the thickest section reads 145°F.
