A quick and rather simple rum cocktail.  This cocktail thrives when using an aged rum.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces aged rum
  • ¾ ounces cane sugar simple syrup
  • 3-4 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Juice of ½ lime
  • Lime wedge, for garnish

Preparation

Combine all ingrediants into cocktail shaker and shake with ice for about 10 seconds.

Strain contents into a highball glass filled with ice. Garnish with lime.
