Made with our housemade Chimichurri Sauce, this garlicky and herbaceous take on a Cubano adds extra flavor with spinach, red onion and Swiss cheese.
Ingredients
- 1 soft white roll
- 3 ounces pulled pork
- 2 ounces ham
- 1 slice red onion, separated into rings
- 6 pickle slices
- 2 ounces sliced Swiss cheese
- ½ ounce spinach
Preparation
To build the sandwich, cut the roll horizontally and spread 1 ounce of chimichurri on each side. Layer pork, ham, red onion, pickes and Swiss cheese on the bottom half and top with the other half of the roll.
Heat as you would a classic Cubano (in a panini press or griddle). Once sandwich is heated through, add spinach and serve immediately.
